The appointment, approved by the association&#8217;s General Meeting, replaces Jorge Sendagorta, president of Sener, who has held the position since 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Jos\u00e9 Gal\u00edndez, naval engineer and president of Solarpack, takes over the vice-presidency of the association.<\/p>\n<p>Javier Ormazabal Echevarria was born in 1964; he has a degree in Economics from the University of the Basque Country and postgraduate studies from the London Business School (UK) and IESE Business School. In addition, he was president of the TECNALIA Research &amp; Innovation technology centre.
